In my “spare time” I love making mosaics!  

Using stained glass scraps, I will teach techniques for a finished see-through mosaic that can be hung in a window. Bring your own personal assortment of flat glass, translucent beads, crystals, shells, and anything else you would like to incorporate. First class covers glass-cutting techniques & securing pieces onto the glass. The second class covers grouting and cleaning the finished pieces. Bring heavy garden gloves to handle glass. Materials fee covers mirror or frame, glue, grout, glass, tiles and beads to use.

This 3 hour class is an open studio/free work time.  If you already have a project that you’re working on and need a little extra time to finish it, or would like access to metalsmithing tools you don’t have at home, this is the workshop space for you!  No new techniques will be taught at this time, but I will be there to answer any questions and offer help if you get stuck on techniques or design elements.
